Hey there Brothers and Sisters,
My apologies for not updating you on the hapz.
Here's the short version -
1. The divorce was finalized this past May.
2. I am encouraged by what Paul the Apostle wrote in 1 Corinthians 7 - "...if the unbeliever departs, that brother or sister is no longer bound to the unbeliever. For the LORD has called us to a life of peace..."
3. As a result of the divorce, I am going through some gnarly financial things (i.e., credit card debt and various other financial obligations that I don't have the money to pay for)
Here's what the LORD has been showing me through all of this -
Through all of these sufferings, joy is the perfect result.
Yes, that's right. You read it correctly.
I have JOY!!!
I know that the LORD has carried me this far, and He will deliver me from this. No matter what the end result is, He will be glorified.
And He is good.
May His Name be Praised on High!
